180 Seconds in Heaven or Hell

Closer Faster Slicker Stronger

Performance, hybrid art

Following the success of its 2007 debut, 180 Seconds in Heaven or Hell is back by popular demand! A glorious approach to performance and performance art, 180 assembles an unlikely line-up of some of Sydney and Melbourne’s most notorious performers, artists, ensembles and dance-gangs for an unruly night of live art variety. It’s a special edition; lovingly curated for the 2008 Next Wave Festival.

Heavenly or hellish, an eclectic, rowdy line-up of artists and art forms take the stage in turbulent three minute episodes. Title fight meets intimate cabaret in round two of 180; an intra-stellar collision of some of our brightest talents and a fabulous excuse for a party!

180 Seconds conceived by Arts House. Curated by Bec Reid.

180 went OFF last Saturday night. Hundreds witnessed a mega dance SPECTACULAR. Here’s what part of it looked like:

The Brown Council, Jenn Goodwin, Post, Rogue, spat+loogie, The Suitcase Royale, Jon Pak, special guests bodyelectric dance studios, Dan Sultan, Jacob Boehme, Gulsen Ozer.
